In the few years I spent working I have seen enough examples as to why Ethiopians don’t do well when working together. We may have the right attitude when it comes to country’s independence or to fighting against a common enemy, but when it comes to growing together we get so caught up in others' progress that we forget to do our part. So it is very vital that we, as a community that uphold the concepts of Open Source, show that it is possible to work and grow together. We need to learn to share our knowledge and also be happy to see it bear fruit. We need to recognize genius and utilize it to do more.
